OUR STORY
lart94dx copy
Ms CHANTALE TETA
Founder and CEO of HADASSAH GRACE FOUNDATION
global world
Married to her longtime sweetheart, young mother of 3 with just a 6 months old baby boy , she witnessed the assassination of her husband, one fatal night of October 24, 1993.
Widow at 28, abandoned to herself and obligated to raise her 3 children all alone, she was determined not to not give up in life and to be strong for her young family, totally putting her trust and faith in God.
Loving, caring, compassionate are the qualities defining this charismatic woman. Marked by the events of her life and concerned by the condition of living of the orphans and the widows, touched by the poverty in which many live in Cameroon, she nourished the dream and the desired to contribute in their wellbeing. She then decided to be the voice of the voiceless, the mother of the motherlesss and the hope of the hopeless. Driven by her faith, she took the name of HADASSAH, a biblical woman, figure of prayer and of actions. She also likes to be called Mama HADASSAH. Late 2019, she decided to make her dream a reality and HADASSAH GRACE FOUNDATION was born.

HELP A CHILD CAMPAIGN
Educate a child

Advocacy message: “we want a world in which every child has the opportunity and access to good education”.

Millions of children are being robbed of an education simply because of who they are or where they live. Deprived of learning because they are caught up in emergencies, face extreme poverty, or are discriminated against because of their gender, disability or ethnicity. The world's most vulnerable and excluded children are missing out on education.

  • Today, nearly 400 million children of primary school age cannot read or write
  • More than half of all three to six year olds have no access to pre-primary education
  • About 10 million refugee children risk having their learning interrupted after being forced to flee their homes
  • 25 million children will never enroll in school – and two-thirds of them are girls.

Without a quality basic education, children are less likely to escape the cycle of poverty and may never have the opportunity to fulfill their potential.

Happy People
What They Say

” One of the most beautiful things for the heart is to see these little children, the smiles, the tears of their gratitude to receive their lunch. We take it for granted but for them they live for that lunch to see what just that little bit of care and concern from our part can do for a person’s entire life. ”
